I’m always searching for fun recipes to switch up the routine so my little man doesn’t get bored with his food. Apples and nut butter are a great energizing and filling snack for kids (and adults), and one that we enjoy often in our house. This version of the snack just takes it to the next level. It’s crisp, fresh, sweet, savory and it’s easy to make!
What You Need:
- All-natural peanut butter
- Raw almonds
- Raw walnuts
- Chocolate chips
- Dried cranberries
*You can add or subtract topping ingredients depending on what you/your family like.
What You Do:
1. Core out apple and slice
2. Spread small amount of all natural peanut butter on apple slices
3. Top with a few raw almonds or walnuts as well as 2-4 chocolate chips and dried cranberries
Enjoy on the go or at home!
