Today marks the first day of my “Let’s Get Extreme” 21 Day Fix EXTREME group. We are dialing up intensity of our workouts, tightening the reigns in the kitchen– keeping it clean and 21 Day Fix EXTREME approved (sorry no wine or chocolate this round guys), and tackling our EXTREME goals for next level results.

Here are some tips for success:

Plan ahead: Meal prepping is key to your success while doing ANY of my programs, 21 Day Fix EXTREME included. A few things to help with successful meal prepping. 1) Don’t overdo it- stick to no more than 4 (different) meals per week, don’t go overboard or make it too complicated. Keep it simple, clean and fresh. 2) When you cut into your fruits and veggies, they start to oxidize/lose nutrients. So try to hold off on cutting into those veggies too far in advance. I love 6 Pack Bags, they are great for days where I’m on the go all day. I can get in all my meals, Shakeology packets/water and they never leak!

When should you use “The Fix Challenge” on the calendar?

  • Anna

Hi Autumn! I was wondering, is there a hybrid calendar for someone who wants to add Insanity or Focus T25 into the mix?

  • Becca Korycki

Hi I have a few questions I just started 21 day fix a few days ago and I ordered the fixate cookbook as well. I’m just a little confused about the colored containers I’ve been making my food in them but I’m not sure how many of each one I’m supposed to have a day?

    Hi Autumn!
If I meal prep my chicken using coconut oil (2 tsp) and eat chicken almost everyday, does the coconut oil count as my teaspoons, or have I been skipping those?

  • Susan

I get up early so I eat early, any suggestions as I work 12 hour shifts and don’t always get a chance to eat if my break is cut short. I also try not to eat much when I get home from work as I don’t want to eat before I go to bed.

I’ve done a round and a half of 21 day fix and have barely lost any weight at all. What am I doing wrong? I’ve been doing shakeology and my workouts and everything I’m supposed to but Im not losing inches or lbs. A few pounds at the most. It’s pretty discouraging. Should I do something differently?? Has anyone else gone through this before?

    Hi Autumn,
I just received 21 Day Fix Extreme and started it today. Why do you avoid dairy? Ive heard that it’s really not that good for you; however, is it necessary to cut it out in order to achieve the optimal results? I’m a 42 year old mom of 4 and I’m trying to look my best. I’m currently 5’2″ and 120 lbs, but I really want to lose 5-7 more lbs.

Will there ever be an official app for Android? I do not have an Iphone and would LOVE an app for tracking. I have a baby belly to lose before September!

  • JoAnn

Any ideas for lunches that don’t need a fridge? Or microwave? I work on an ambulance as a medic and struggle with food that I can take on the truck and eat between calls.

  • Holly Hudson

What’s the trick to losing baby weight flab? I’ve started the 21 day fix.

  • Joelle McGlothlin

My biggest struggle is meal planning/prepping….I have a hard time prepping the meals for the week bc it seems like I run out of ideas and/or have time management issues(that’s something I need to work on)

  • Cassandra

What if your not of fan of eggs and I feel like it plays a huge part in breakfast, which I have a hard time eating

  • Emily Willinger

I struggle with my eating at work. I’m a RN, and I work 12 hour shifts. When I’m at home, I can control my snacking, but at work it’s a different story. I feel like I want to snack all day long. I drink my shakeo on my way to work, but I just feel hungry all of the time. Any tips?

  • Terri

What do you do after the 21 days? Do you start right in with another 21 day cycle if you need it?

  • Elizabeth Marcisz

I have been following this plan for over a year now with Coach Maria Frame. I am also a Coach. I absolutley love this program and have made it a lifestyle. It has kept my portions under control and has helped me stay strong. I recommend it to everyone.

  • Angelica

I have been doing 21dfx for months now, I’m thinking of doing regular fix to mix it up. Since I started with dfx do you think I will still get a challenge from regular fix?

  • Kirsteen MacLeod

Hi. I am on week 2 of Extreme. My weight is 110lbs – 5ft 4″. I don’t want to lose weight but I do need to lose some fat from my lower back/upper but area. I use 3kg weight for light and 5Kg for heavies. I have been eating from the first column but struggling. Should I increase my food or do I just have to suck it a and get on with it?
    Guidance welcome.
    Thanks
    Kirsteen

I need the motivation I use to have

  • Danette Hawco

Just a quick question. How do you know if you’re ready to move on to 21 Day Fix Xtreme? I’m currently doing 21 Day Fix and have been for quite some time now but I don’t know when it’s time to move to the next level. Any suggestions? Thanks

  • Morgan Daw

    Question:
Due to some health issues surrounding my heart, I am very limited on exercise until I get the ok after some tests and possible surgery. However, I need to lose about 60 lbs.
Would the 21-day fix help me even though I can’t work out?

  • Ricki

I struggle with lunch meal planning

    • Autumn

Hey Ricki- salads, wraps, simple rice/veggies/protein combo, zoodles with pasta sauce, tuna salad… so many options! Check out FixAte, there is a whole section on Fix Approved lunches.

      • Ashley Puls

        Hey Autumn,
I love wraps but what kind of wrap would you recommend for the Fix Extreme? And I don’t really like tuna any more could I possibly use canned chicken if I don’t have fresh chicken? Thanks!
